Fifteen weeks
I'm 15 weeks pregnant today, and strongly into the second trimester.
Second trimester!
Want to see the belly? Here you go:
Getting clich of seeing the belly? Unfortunately for you, you've got another 25 weeks, give or swallow a few weeks, of seeing the amazing expanding belly.
The big news on the baby face is that Ernie and I have picked baby names, we think. (with the support of Gaby, who has been calling out names for weeks now) In another three and a half weeks, we'll be proficient to adopt one as the name for Mikey (although we're still keeping it quiet until the mollycoddle is born), and let the other one fade away.
And...well, that's about all we've done to get gracious for the baby at this point. I DO have 25 more weeks, you certain. Gwen and Tim helped Ernie move a piece of furniture out of the nursery Statue Day weekend, and Ernie finished putting the insulation in the little alcove areas, so I hypothesis we are making progress. Before we can begin to put baby furniture together or restore, though, we've got to paint. And frankly, that requires a lot of energy and motivation (and two working feet).
Ernie and I got a skin of one's teeth-brained idea of putting one of those playground areas in the backyard for Gaby and Mikey. On the contrary thing is, our backyard isn't really level. So we spent a lot of time planning where surely it would go, and how we would make that happen, including how to level off the territory.
But first, I have to get my foot healed. Our hope is to have the playground built by the start of August...
